Anti Oxidant Drinking Water with Electron Enrichment

The Envirolyte® ECO-120 and 300 are designed for purifying tap water to meet the World Health Organization (WHO) health standards. They kill all bacteria and viruses in the water within seconds, and also reduce heavy metal content to European safety standards. They produce pleasant-tasting, potable water, retaining most of its beneficial mineral content.

The process involved in the production of potable water has been developed over many years and still has no equivalent. Envirolyte® ECO-120 and 300 have undergone technical and independent medical-biological testing, confirming that they destroy even extreme levels of bacteria and viruses in water as well as organic compounds (including phenols). The water is safe, tasty and drinkable.

The ECO-120 produces 120 liters per hour of water.

The ECO-300 produces 300 liters per hour of water.

   
General Issues of Pure Potable Water and Methods of its Purification

Real water is, indeed, an aqueous solution of various substances in different states of aggregation, with a mixed chemical composition. It contains inorganic ions (Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe3+, Al3+, NH4+, HCO3-, SO42-, NO3-, NO2-, F-, SiO32-, HS-, CO32-, etc.), dissolved gases (O2, CO2, N2, H2S), finest particles of solids, organic substances, both natural and artificial, microorganisms and products of their vital activity.

The dimensions of particles contained in water vary from ten thousandths of micron to 100 or more microns, i.e., differ ten million times and more. The reference is to so-called average dimensions of particles, which are determined on the basis of the known specific mass of the substance and the mass of a particle in an assumption that those particles are roughly spherical. In practice, most of organic compounds, many micro-organisms, products of their vital activity, and certain structural portions of micro-organisms have linear structure and, depending on their orientation, can penetrate through a filtering material, mesh size of which is conventionally considered to achieve their blocking. For instance, the average mesh size of antibacterial filters used in medicine for filtering pharmaceuticals is 0.22 microns.

However, such filters are transparent for those flagella and pili of bacteria, which have diameter of 25 to 7 nanometers (i.e., 0.025-0.007 µm). The production of water close to ideally pure one is only possible by means of reverse osmotic filtration devices with membranes, mesh size of which does not exceed 0.0001 µm, however, such water, if used for drinking purposes, would affect a human organism adversely due to the lack of necessary components: ions of sodium calcium, magnesium, fluorine, chlorine, sulphates, carbonates, etc., which must present in potable water.

During hundreds of thousand years of the evolution a human organism has adapted to the consumption of natural fresh water with salinity within 0.2-1.0 grams per liter containing small amounts of natural organic substances and free of any pathogenic or conditionally pathogenic microorganisms.


As a result of technogenic activities of humans, almost all-fresh water of surface and underground sources on the Earth became contaminated with xenobiotics, repugnant and useless for the human organism (such as detergent herbicides, pesticides, refinery by-products, etc.). In the process of biotransfornation these substances often decay into products more toxic than the initial compounds. Xenobiotics have a depressive effect on human's immune system, cause various organic and functional disturbances. Meanwhile, now water contains more ions causing toxic effect on human organism even in lowest concentrations (Hg2+, Pb2+, Cd2+), and concentrations of those ions which in microscopic doses would have favorable effect (Fe3+, Fe2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, etc.) have grown to harmful levels. Depending on the degree of adverse effect on a human organism, metals may be arranged in a following series called metal toxicity series: Hg> Ag > Cu > Zn > Ni > Pb > Cd > Ag > Cr > Sn > Fe > Mn > AI > Be > Li. In this series the toxicity of each preceding metal excesses that of the following one.

The amount of micro-organisms adapted to the presence of xenobiotics and heavy metal ions in natural fresh water has also increased, and there appeared their new forms, presenting for a human much more serious danger than previously known and well determined species due to the increased resistance to conventional antiseptic means.

Filtration and sorption-based methods are fundamentally unfeasible for the separation, by the criteria of usefulness, of tens of thousands of various compounds dissolved in water. Meanwhile, the concentration of either useful or harmful, contained in water, substances on the surface of filtering membranes, in sorbent pores or on surface of ion exchange materials always leads, at first, to the holding of micro-organisms, their accelerated reproduction and enhanced emission of microbous toxins into water along with simultaneous abrupt fall of filtering, sorbing or ion exchanging capacity of active elements of a water treatment device.

Methods of water purification based on doping water with germicidal substances (iodine, bromine, and silver) carry the risk of harmful effect on human organism. The treatment of water with UV radiation and the ozonation do not provide effective decontamination if water contains colloidal particles or organic compounds, whether natural or artificial.

 
 
Envirolyte ANTI OXIDANT Drinking Water

This drinking water still has no analogues among industrial or minor electrochemical systems. The treatment of water is based on the use of natural oxidation-reduction processes of the destruction of toxic elements, such processes being substantially accelerated in special flow through Envirolyte reactors.

The design of Envirolyte reactors ensures the contact of all micro volumes of water flowing through the anode or cathode electrode chamber with an electrode surface, in the vicinity of which the electric intensity reaches few million volts per centimeter (the effect of purification of rainwater and its saturation with vital power during spring thunderstorms). In this case the processes of natural oxidation-reduction destruction and neutralization of toxic substances are accelerated both due to direct electrochemical reactions and as a result of the participation in such processes of highly active components electrochemically synthesized out of the water under treatment, such as ozone, atomic oxygen, peroxide compounds, active chlorine compounds, including chlorine dioxide, and short-lived free radicals.

Processes of water treatment consist of several stages separated in time and space and differing by the nature of their action on the water and its impurities. This guarantees higher effectiveness and environmental safety of the water treatment compared to other known techniques.

The concept of the water treatment may be summarized as follows: such treatment removes from the water everything that is harmful and alien to a human organism (i.e., xenobiotics) and retains all that is useful and harmless.

Such concept, being implemented, allows, during the flow of water through the electrochemical system of the device, to achieve killing micro-organisms of all types and forms (bacteria, mycobacterium, viruses, fungi, spores, parasites, microbial toxins); to simultaneously destroy, by means of electrochemical destruction, toxic organic compounds (phenols, trihalomethanes, herbicides, pesticides, surface-active substances); to exclude the risk of formation of toxic trihalomethanes due to very small concentrations of free chlorine in water; and, finally. To remove heavy metal ions, including those of iron.

One of the most important factors regulating the parameters of oxidation-reduction reactions taking place in any liquid medium is the activity of electrons or, in other terms, the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) of that medium.

ORP of the internal environment of a human measured on a platinum electrode in respect to a silver chloride (AgCl) reference electrode normally is always less than zero, i.e. has negative values within -100 to -200 mV. ORP of potable water measured in the same way is practically always more than zero and usually lies within + 100 to +400 mV. This is true for virtually all types of potable water that running out of taps in all locations in the world, that being sold in glass or PET bottles, that resulting from the treatment in reverse osmosis devices, UV, Ozone and Filtrations and in most various major and minor water treatment systems.

The above difference in ORP of the internal environment of a human and that of potable water means that the electron activity within a human body is much higher than in potable water.

Electron activity is the most important feature of the internal environment of an organism since it is directly related to fundamental processes of vital activity. Practically all biologically meaningful systems responsible for the accumulation and consumption of energy, for the replication and the inheritance of hereditary characters, various fermentative systems of an organism contain molecular structures with separated charges, with electric field intensity between such separated charges reaching 104 –106 V/cm.

Research studies performed during last years, have shown that it is these fields that to a great extent govern the process of charge transportation in biologic Systems and are responsible for the selectivity and self-control of certain stages of complicated biochemical conversions, and that ORP, as an indicator of electron activity, affects materially the functionality of electrically active components of biological systems.

When ordinary potable water penetrates into the tissues of a human (or some other body), it rids cells and tissues consisting by 80-90% of water, of electrons. As a result, biostructures of an organism (cellular membranes, cell organoids, nucleic acids, etc) are subject to oxidative attack. The organism wears out, ages, its vitals loose their functionality. But these negative process could be decelerated, if the water incoming into an organism along with food and drink had properties compatible with those of the internal environment, i.e. had protective reduction. This fact has been confirmed by multiple research studies performed in specialized research centers in Russia and abroad.

In order to ensure the optimal use of potable water with positive oxidation-reduction potential by an organism in metabolic processes, its ORP must correspond to ORP of the internal environment of an organism. The required change in ORP of water in an organism takes place on account of electric energy of cellular membranes, i.e., energy of the utmost level, being, indeed the end product of the biochemical chain of nutrient transformation.

The amount of energy spent by an organism in order to achieve biological compatibility of water, is proportional to the amount of water and to the difference between ORPs of water and of the internal environment of an organism. If water supplied to an organism has ORP close to that of the internal environment of a human organism, electric energy of cellular membranes (vital energy of an organism) is not spent on the adjustment of water electron activity, and water is digested immediately, since it is biologically compatible in relation to this indicator. If ORP of potable water is more negative than that of the internal environment of an organism, it feeds the organism with such energy, which is used by the cells as an energy reserve of anti-oxidant protection of the organism from the adverse influence of the external environment.

ORP of water treated in the Envirolyte ECO unit is always negative.

Thus, electrochemical treatment of water ensures:

• Total disinfecting of water;

• Effective removal or total destruction of toxic elements and compounds;

• Removal of excessive concentrations of salts and solid residue components;

• Directed variation of oxidation-reduction potential and increase in biological value of water without impact on neutral acid-alkaline characteristics;

"Too many fats in the diets, which lead to the deposition of cholesterol on the blood vessels, which in turn constrict the blood flow, cause most illnesses such as high blood pressure. Antioxidant water improves body constituents and ensures effective healing to many illnesses. The uses of antioxidant water in gynecological patients have proved to be very effective. The important role of antioxidant water in our stomach is to neutralize the secretion and strengthen it s functions. Usually, after consuming the antioxidant water for 1 to 3 minutes, the gastric juice increase to 1½ times. For those suffering from hypochlorhydria or achlorhydria (low in gastric juice) the presence of antioxidant water will stimulate the stomach cells to secrete more gastric juice. This in turn enhances digestion and absorption of minerals.

However, on the other hand, those with hyperchlorhydria (high in gastric juice), the antioxidant water neutralizes the excessive gastric juice. Hence, it does not create any adverse reaction.

"When I was serving in the Fire Insurance Association, I used to examine many diabetic patients. Besides treating them with drugs, I provided them with antioxidant water. After drinking antioxidant water for one month, 15 diabetic patients were selected and sent to Tokyo University for further test and observations.

Initially, the more serious patients were a bit apprehensive about the treatment. When the antioxidant water was consumed for some time, the sugar in the blood and urine ranged from a ratio of 300 mg/l to 2 mg / dc. There was a time where the patient had undergone 5 to 6 blood tests a day and detected to be within normal range.
